Apple Upside Down Cake
Apple Upside Down Cake. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine the topping ingredients except for the apples and spread in the bottom of the cake pan.
Stir butter and brown sugar over medium heat, until creamy and bubbly. Prep cake mix according to the instructions on the box and pour over the caramel & apples and bake as per instructions on the box. Whisk in the eggs, vanilla and milk until fully incorporated.
Place wire rack over cake pan.
Scrape down the sides and up the bottom of the bowl with a rubber spatula as needed.
On high speed, beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until combined. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt brown sugar, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Prep cake mix according to the instructions on the box and pour over the caramel & apples and bake as per instructions on the box.
