Banana Chocolate Chip Bread Recipe. Beat butter and sugar in a third bowl until light and fluffy. In large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
In a separate bowl, peel and mash the bananas. Stir together flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. In a separate bowl, mix the mashed bananas, egg, oil, and vanilla extract.
In a bowl, add the bananas and mash until smooth.
Using melted butter, as opposed to room temperature, helps to soaks up all the flour which gives you that smooth texture.
Let cool on a rack before removing from pan. First whisk together flour, baking soda and salt, and set aside. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients (the banana mixture), stirring just until combined.
