Chocolate Covered Cherries
Chocolate Covered Cherries. Dip a frozen cherry into the chocolate remove it with a fork, and let the excess chocolate run off. Cover bowl with paper towel and microwave on high for one minute.
Stir chocolate with spoon until chocolate is completely melted. You only need maraschino cherries and a few staple ingredients that every baker has on hand! Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave.* Holding the cherry by the stem, dip it in the melted chocolate and allow the excess to drip off.
Remove the wrapped cherries from the refrigerator.
Do not store in the refrigerator as this will discolor the chocolate.
