Bass Guitar Notes Chart
Bass Guitar Notes Chart. To be a well rounded player you have to understand the most important chords and scales involved as well. I will be using the number sign to indicate sharps in my text.
The musical staff consists of five lines and four spaces on which the notes are written. This post is designed to give you the reader a bare-bones fundamental approach to reading bass guitar music. Compare its sound to that of the minor pentatonic scale.
Learning and practicing these scales will allow you to play the correct notes when creating bass lines, and will provide you with a solid musical foundation.
These are; A, A#, B, C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, G#.
The scales include major, three types of minor, the major and minor pentatonic scales, and the blues scale.. The following exercises are an action plan for mastery. Sharps and flats are notated with a # or a "b".
